I would have got 4 stars if the last episode hadn't happened to the staff and the superior. I have a reservation for 18:30. We ate and then ordered some more drinks, while we discussed at the table with the plan to order dessert afterwards. We did not get there when the superior came to us and "respectful" asked us to go because another reservation had arrived. Needless to say that no one had come, we had not been told that there was a maximum interval that we can spend in the restaurant, the answer of the superior at the time of leaving us speechless: "You were more than two hours! When I pointed out that there were other people at the tables that had arrived before us, the supervisor gave us the sarcastic answer that he would send everyone out so that we would be happy. The place is quite crowded and does not allow a lot of space to move, you can hardly make conversation without hearing someone's other discussions, but we liked the food. The only thing we liked is the food. However, the staff leaves much to be desired. If you like meals on the run and don't make out the rude staff, go for it:
It was terrible experience. We waited long for the waiter and then after he took the order, the administrator told us to leave the restaurant if we do not order food and drinks more than 100 ron per person. The problem is that she doesn't tell us before and just wastes our time. Administrator was very arrogant and was phony smiling while we went and did not even apologize for this situation.
We appreciate the friendly pampering and the warm atmosphere of this location. The menu offers a wide selection of specialties The service is very friendly I made my choice for the Schrimps shoarma and it was an excellent choice. The presentation wa wel done and... the taste was top! We look forward to this place
Stopped off at Zaitoone on a recent visit to Bucharest, almost accidentally as most of the restaurants down the river were closed for the winter But we were delighted with the choice! Deliciousmixed grill, homemade bread (amazing! , and local beers at reasonable prices. Friendly/...quick service even though the place was pretty busy. Highly recommend!
In general I have to say that I like dining at this place. The food is really good, tasty and authentical. Their moutabal and hummus is one of the best and it's like eating in Dubai all over again. What spoils the culinary experience though is the personnel who is rather stiff and the attention to cleanliness of the place (especially the terrace and special child chair).
