I was taken here by a business colleague who recommended it for fish. We asked the waiter for a recommendation and we had traditional Romanian fish starters, which were tasty. Main dish was steak of a large fish bit not sure what, it was not good and the vegetables served with it were very over cooked and soggy. For dessert I had traditional Romanian cheese cake, I took a bite and was expecting it to be cold or maybe warm but it was scorching hot and I burnt my mouth. I think it was microwave hot, which is very poor. I won't return.
The food was tasty, but by no means it justifies the cost! Little did we knew that the meal for two would cost 200 RON ! . No wine. No desserts! 8 prawns, 4 potatoes and the wine sauce was charged separately!
Let's start with the positive note: the Dorada was good and the duck was at least sufficient. Now: menú just in Romanian and not a single waiter who could not speak a single English word. That is why he chose me in principle. Fish fresh in fact, salad not really special, escape sufficient... But it was meat. For the rest, I had no idea what to take. It seemed at a certain point to disturb them. Paid by 23 euros, which is not so cheap here. I'm not coming back.
Simply delicious, thats my opinion. I often eat here and I'm pleased everytime I do it. I ordered fisheggs with onion for starters, fish meatballs soup and for maincourse some sturgeon. Everything was delicious. The price for the fish is per 100 grams, around 45 lei/ 10€ for a moderate to a big portion of grilled fish. For drink we tooked some white wine. That was a complete lunch for my soul : Thanks Tasty Fish, thanks a lot !!!
TastyFish can offer a good surprise for fish lovers in an unexpected place Bucharest. The menu is rich, but some of the dishes on the menu were not available (like the Icra salads, or some of the fish). The Batog was delicious, fresh, melted in our mouth. The fish soup was somehow disappointing, less tasteful as fish, more like standards ciorba. The fish dishes were excellent, generous, fresh fish, simply but well cooked. Good service.
