We specifically sought this place out as a recommendation of Rough Guide. It's just a small cafe and we were the only ones there, early evening. Girl server was... read more We specifically sought this place out as a recommendation of Rough Guide. It's just a small cafe and we were the only ones there, early evening. Girl server was pleasant and friendly. There was no written menu anywhere but offered quiche, couple of salads or main dishes, chicken or beef but we were rather concerned as these dishes had clearly been lying around all day with a skin formed over them. We naturally assumed they would be completely reheated to HOT. No such luck. The food was served lukewarm on cold plates hence our fear of food poisoning being a good possibility. There were no prices on display at all so were surprised, on paying, to find this sub-standard food came at an expensive price. We pointed out our disappointment but were told there was nothing she could do about it as she wasn't the owner.

The mains were OK, not esp... read more Came here because it had good reviews and was near to our hotel. The soups were interesting mine was carrot and ginger and was tasty. The mains were OK, not especially hot, but good portion sizes. It was just a little expensive compared...to better offerings in the city, hence the average review. Sorry. Though the staff were quite friendly etc, until I wanted to check the bill.

The food was well-seasoned, perfectly cooked, and reasonably priced! Definitely worth a visit
