The food was delicious. Veal, grilled at the table, soft and tasty. The wine was very good too, and the dessert, homemade ice cream. We stumbled upon this restaurant on our first night.. It was not very busy at the time we arrived. But the service was slow the meals took long to come to the table the portions where small and disappointing. The wine arrived almost when we had finished our dinner. It's not the first time I ate in this restaurant. During the day, the restaurant is rarely busy. It tends to attract people, dodgy business transactions etc. In addition, it also attracts local drunks, especially a strange looking policeman/travert, who believes he is the Romanian last action hero. Often drunk and disturbed service is very much hit and miss. It's service because we want money instead of enjoying you here, please come back. Often a lot of the menu is not available, which is frustrating. The menu is for no reason massive. Pay attention to the bill. some of the prices are doubled. Make sure you know what you order and the price. Food is not freshly cooked. can be hot, can be cold. Sometimes you have everything you asked, not at all or something completely different? Needs a complete revision..very dated and stunned.
The menu is long, but do not disturb to read it, they do not have most meals. About all the meals we had chosen, the waiter said they didn't have it today and offered us another meal, their speciality, as he did, we agreed. The meal was not delicious, but okay. Imagine our reaction when we got an invoice the meal was ALMOST THREE TIMES more expensive than all meals in the menu! Probably why the waiter told us about it. We paid much more than we expected and nothing! It's just a deception and nothing more. Avoid this place.
I have eaten here twice. The service seems slow and waiters rather distant . Inside ambience is very Romanian and pleasant. Outside a bit too much street noise. The menu in in Romanian and English. The choice is endless. But as the title suggests it could be better. For example the sour sou of itself was fine but the meat balls not too my taste. I could go but you will have got the message by now.

Bad experience. No service. No attention. The cooking is bland, with no flavor. We were there for 2 hours waiting for the food, ate and left. Hoping to find a better representation of Bucharest!
