As desired, the cook will pre... read more I can't blame Bel Canto at Berthelot Hotel in Bucharest. The breakfast buffet has a wide selection of hot, cold, fruit and drinks. As desired, the cook will prepare something for you in a special way. The dinner menu is not extensive, but there is a good choice of dishes and deserts. Ingredients are very fresh, and I suspect that many of them are locally grown and market fresh. The drink card is also pretty good. Not huge, but there is enough choice in all categories to please only about everyone. I am in the sampling of local beer, and I think it is available about 4-6. The servers are very capable and professional and they see everything with a professional setting. Prices are fairly low according to American standards, so the restaurant is a very good value for money.

As requested, t... read more I can't fault Bel Canto in the Berthelot Hotel, Bucharest. The breakfast buffet has a very broad selection of hots, colds, fruits and beverages. As requested, the chef will prepare something in a special way for you. The dinner menu is not extensive, but there's a good variety of dishes and deserts. Ingredients are very fresh, and I suspect that many of them are local-grown and market fresh. The beverage menu is pretty good, too. Not huge, but there's enough selection in all the categories to please just about anyone. I'm into sampling the local beer, and I seem to remember that there were about 4-6 available.The servers are very capable and professional and they see to everything with a professional attitude. The prices are pretty low by American standards, so the restaurant represents very good value on a price/quality basis.
