Dairy Queen - Buckhannon

This place is a jewel of Buckhannon. Come here to come back in time and appreciate what Dairy Queen was from the beginning. The owner is kept clean and fresh almost daily for the building and the surroundings. This is an only walk-in facility with outdoor seats around the tiny but fantastic retro, building. Order on a window, get on the other. It is Dairy Queen Ice Cream; nothing like a cone of soft serve to flood the mind with summer children memories or create new ones for your own children. They do not serve hamburgers or any other items in a full restaurant. This place is for ice, blizzards, smoothies, flavored ice drinks, etc. On warm days there is almost always a long line. Not a deflector, but a shield that you are at the right place for a cool leak to lift the heat. Enjoy!

I'm not from the area, so I've never been here. I expected a restaurant full of size, but it was one of those mini locations. We just wanted ice cream, so I didn't really see the menu board to see what all the food items they sold. At least I know they sell hot dogs because they smell good. I would have bought a few, but my Gf and I had just eaten an hour before. The lady who worked there was nice, so everything was a pleasant visit.

Old time ice experience with modern favorites. I ordered a confetti cake blizzard and what I got was a full facial taste. After I woke up by the ecstasy-induced coma, I said in my wife that the year was 2035. So I did my life work to return in time and stop me. I was only successful in discovering the secrets of the time travel to find out how such an event, such as the Blizzard confetti cake can not be stopped. By 2035.

I love soft serve ice cream. The employees are friendly and efficient, plus they have outdoor tables in the shade of the building. In the summer, there are beautiful flowers nearby to enjoy as well!
