The first time I ordered (17.03.2021) it was excellent. Then, twice in a row, I found it a mistake to trust professionalism! Most recent yesterday, 07.04.2021. Knowing the money in the account, they have NO interest in quality. The chicken breast that I liked so much I received, at the previous two orders, burned. Dry. Horror. We ordered here a beef mustard steak and a lamb skewer. Both were great, and we couldn't stop eating it. We ended up with a tart merengue and a chocolate with vigs and nuts. We advice to choose one desert as its a lot.The place has a really great ambiance and the staff is really nice. The waiter excused himself for not speaking proper english, and that he was learning it. Although, his English was perfect.Once we come back to Bucharest we would visit this pub/restaurant once again!

I have only one word that can describe this place: WOW! Amazing food, impressive big portions, great service. There is only one thing I can reproach, it is always really crowded. But, Hey! Worth waiting!
We went to try out the ribs as we're looking for the best ones in Bucharest. Unfortunately the ones from Shift are just mediocre. Other than the fact that they are absolutely huge, there's not much to praise as they taste oven baked and don't have the barbeque feel. Big plus for the cosy garden though the tables are super crowded and you will hear everything from the other tables. The staff is very friendly and quick with the order and the lemonade was absolutely delicious. Will go back to try the pasta as we heard good things about it.
Deliciously food, nice cosy place. Service is perfect and the food is really good. I can recommend this place for everyone looking for something special.

But from here and deceiving your customers, is a road for which you must be ashamed.
Excellent food! Pleasant atmosphere that invites you to stay awhile and enjoy. The waiters are friendly and courteous. They offer menus in both Romanian and English. Gentle music in the background creates a calm, inviting scene without being overbearing. Can highly recommend this place for both beers and a nice dinner for two.
The food is excellent, as usual but the service is awful. We've waited 45 min for drinks and 75 min for food... And we were served in this time because we asked them to serve us, because they were not paying attention to the clients. Awful, awful service... Disappointing....
I will start of by saying that I am a big fan of Alt Shift. I always enjoy what I order from them. Because of this I've given Shift 3 separe chances during a period of 3 years. And each of those chances was met with an utter dissapointment. My latest endeavour was ordering a burger. The meat and buns were bitter because they never clean that grill that they have : . I would like to think that it is an honest mistake, however this is the exact same experience I had 2 years ago with their brown sauce pork. Another order I had from Shift was schnitzel which obviously since you don't grill it, came undercooked in the middle, luckily I saw and did not ate that part. This review is just to vent my frustration that in 3 years that chef has not learnt to cook nor has he learnt to clean his kitchen. I wouldn't hire him to mop the floors even because it is clearly too hard. Order from Alt Shift, they can cook and clean, and it is an amazing experience. [hidden link]
