I order 2 kind of shrimps, octopus, squid on the grill. Everything was great. Staff is friendly and the atmosphere is great.
I'll start off with the first things that will strike you upon arrival.The restaurant is tastefully decorated, in a warm manner with a lot of different elements that blend together and give you an eyeful to look around and enjoy.The staff is very nice, and unlike other places we were actually served by whomever was around at a certain time, making us feel cared for and at home.Now for the food.We started out with three appetizers - marinated anchovies, the Italian cold meat platter and some bruschettas.The anchovies were tastefully served, filleted, alongside a fresh pink yogurt (I think) sauce,The cold meat platter was a dream, with really traditional Italian meats that I really don't get to taste that often.The bruschettas were made with fresh bread and delivered a balanced taste.In addition to our appetizers, the restaurant bought us their own selection of breads, olives, and arancini.Needless to say, we were almost full, but we really wanted to try some more of what the menu had to offer, especially the desserts, so we decided to split a lasagna and go for the apple pie with homemade icecream (which takes 50 minutes to cook, so make sure you order it early in).The Lasagna was simply great, easy, nicely served with small and tasty sauce toppings on a bed of some sort of sauce, that I proceeded to eat with a spoon when the lasagna was done.The apple pie was better than the staff told us. The ice cream was soft and milky but not too sweet and blended nicely with the refined caramel nuances and crisp that the pie brought.Everything was enjoyed with one of the many wines in their selection, which was not too expensive but was really enjoyable.I think this restaurant comes at the right time in an area that is growing, but was lacking a place with some edge. We'll definitely come back.
