I was invited by my friends to spend lunch and the afternoon of a sunny Sunday in October in Lascar. It was my first experince there to be a new restaurant...Traditional food was accompanied by “must”, the fresh grape juice from Winzer used to her product another beautiful October tradition. Everything we tasted from the menu was excellent: from Tarama and pickles to pastrami with Polnta, Sarmale, delicious pork bite... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Restaurant lascar:
Lascar used to be one of the good restaurants we enjoyed every time we were in Bucharest. Not anymore. The menu may have been shortened to a third of what it used to be, and there is really nothing too attractive in it. Typical Romanian food, but too few choices. While the quality of food and service is appropriate, there is nothing special to justify coming here to eat in a city with so many other attractive culinar... View all feedback.

Everything we tasted from the menu was excellent: from Tarama and pickles to pastrami with Polnta, Sarmale, delicious pork bite and home made Romanian sausages. The desert wasn't to miss Papanasi and sweet cakes. And the garden covered by a vine, a dream.

We came here by recommendation and were not disappointed. Great food, including traditional dishes. great service even without English. We recommend the pickled salad and homemade pepper salad. Not in the center but only a 20 minute walk from the old city.
We visited this restaurant every time we came to Bucharest. The best Mamaliga, Papanash and Chicken soup with dumplings we have ever eaten! The service is wonderful and friendly. This place is a gem. No less. A must.
Yesterday it was my last visit to this place and surely I will never go there again. It was one of the many times that they lacked several items from the menu. I find this kind of situation, unstoppable and annoying, especially if this is a habit. I can imagine what chaos and dirt are likely in the kitchen of a place that simply cannot keep the basic promise to offer the dishes written by itself in the menu. It is a shame that such places still exist, they should be clearly closed.
