I was really surprised how good the food was in this place. We had starters, the daily menu, main course, several drinks, and the check was very, very cheap! I will certainly come back for the Romanian dishes, they sound great. The place is...indeed oldschool and has a certain communist nostalgia to it! Very nice, very recommend this place!!
You enter a relatively formal dining room with a well populated menu. I chose bean soup and beef stew both know Romanian dishes. The bean soup was perfect with a piece of smoked meat and great rolls, raw onions and hot pepper as a side dish. it was good for the last drop. Then the beef stew came a large mix of cut beef, onions, tomatoes and mushrooms I asked for a spoon to get the whole sauce. it was very pleasant. the price was not cheap, but appropriate for a capital restaurant.
They have shows with dance and singer and good prices almost every night. Try it. It is also old
