We 've had pizza from various regions in the country and so far, s... read more As we wrap up our 3 week vacation in Romania, we are back in Bucharest. On the menu... Pizza! We 've had pizza from various regions in the country and so far, sadly, Bucharest is near the bottom. Here 's why. Pizza should be a solid crust, tasty, cooked and toppings. While this pizza shows signs of char from a good oven, I assume it 's not placed correctly as the bottom was undercooked. Making it a doughy texture and very unpleasant. Apparently, Romanians are allergic to sauce. In the multiple regions we 've tried pizza they seem to avoid any amount of sauce. The sauce really brings all things together. From my pictures you can see their pizza was most likely dipped in a bucket of grease. It turned the box into a liquid. I 've been to new York, I 've had their pizza, this would make New York pizza seem dry... Lastly, why does your spicy pizza taste sweet? I 'm sorry if you 're a fan of Monkeys Pizza. I promise you there are others out there who can make a decent pie. To Monkeys, you 're closer to Italy than the US is, take advantage of that. Send someone to Italy, learn to make tasty pizza and take over the market. Or, continue to serve.greasy undercooked attempts. Best wishes Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
