Mignon - Bucharest

At first it looked like a nice chimice, but... No one responded to the phone for a reservation, but we thought as they were a job and no other bad news, everything should be good... No, it was NOT. The place where they are closed is so lazy that they do not open at 12.40.

Maison Mignon is ideally located near Piata Victoriei and offers a large, yet limited selection of dishes. Soups and salads are excellent. Try the garlic cream soup. The atmosphere is cozy and beautiful and the service is perfect. The price-performance ratio is very good (a dinner for two should cost around 100 Lei/25 Euro). Very recommended!

Enjoy an evening meal at Maison Mignon, not far from Gard North Station. The waiter was very good, as the food and the portion size especially the desert came as 2 slices of apple cake. Rose wine was also very good. Def recommend .

What a delight and what a lovely place to have a delicious well prepared meal. This is a gem of a restaurant you might miss if not careful. The address shows it to be on one street .when you will find is on Strada Sevastapol just off Buzesti. Yesterday my Salad Mignon was prepared with fresh ingredients and was just the right touch for me while waiting to see my husband who is a patient at the nearby hospital Sanador. The Ceasar Salad on Saturday was the best ever with lettuce that was unblemished and tender bits of chicken and freshly grated Parmesan. Just the right touch for an appetite just after a stressful time. This is the place my friend wanted to return to when she last came to Romania to visit -whether upstairs or down. If you want good food, a pleasant and intimate atmosphere, do not miss this restaurant.

If you are near Victoria Plaza, please stop at Sevastopol Street in the Mignon Restaurant. Great food, special location and well prepared staff. For drinks you should choose the cellar, you will love it. All dishes are great, but Fatina should be costed. Enjoy!
