I was in this restaurant on various occasions. With friends, family or alone. Prices are reasonable, food quality is good. The menu is interesting, from different parts of the world, but clearly with Romanian accents. The staff is friendly and the order period is not long. We'll be back. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about La Taifas:
I had a mediocre soup accompanied by Stale bread followed by grilled trout cooked over the point of dryness. I followed the recommendation Rough Guide. I was at five, they suggested so well. No one was more than mediocre, but La Taifas is bad too bad. View all feedback.
What a great dinner. Had the traditional pastrami and polnta. the hummus, butter and cheese selection was good, very good onion jam. Bread, like most Roman bread is hard. No not for the weak mounted types.... this is hearty food, best consumed with Gusto and good appetite.

Beautiful people, good food, humble prices and perfect service in a secret part of the city for couples and solo..
We came there from work with a company of 40 people or so. Pre-ordered food and set the hour for 7. What was a surprise, when we received the food more an hour later! The food quality didn 't worth the price they ask, I am sorry to say. In the mean time we asked for the wine menu, and the waitress just made a face and ended up saying that she can bring us a glass, a jar or a bottle of wine and asked which we preferred: red or white. And the thing I didn 't like the most is the atmosphere. When we came there, there were no people and the space was full of smog already. The walls and windows with curtains that supposed to look vintage, were simply dirty and dust totally seemed vintage . P.S. One hint that might help, when they hear that one is a foreigner (or at least speaks in English to them , they become nicer :
