I came at 7:30, Saturday night, together with my wife. we put our orders at 7:45. the wee came half an hour later, when I was told that they no longer have the inkfish (that I ordered). I took the rat of the waiter and replaced the tinten fish with otopus. at 8:30 a.m. the waiter came and informed me that the otopus was no longer available. I've chosen the ass sneaky. at 9:00 a.m. came the court of my wife and I was told that my knelts will take a few minutes more. at 9:30 a.m. the waiter came back and informed me for the third time that they were out of the knee. I asked for the manager. there was no one. from manager too! I'm hesitating for the weeping paid for the unworthy fusilli of my wife and went, never swear back. do not enter the restaurant or they will regret it bitterly!

However, I especially didn’t like... read more The overall experience at Gargantua was a pretty good one. Excellent food, serving and design, at surprinsigly decent prices. However, I especially didn’t like that they charged us an entrance fee for the live band on a Thursday night (not to mention that the music...was extremely loud, to the point we couldn’t hear each other talking not even face to face), given the fact that this was not specified neither on the website, nor on the phone, when I called to make the reservation AFTER previously done online with no confirmation on their side, as specified on the website. Fancy is not enough, more attention to the details is required.

I was with a group and they managed to squeeze us in at a big table, during the Christmas party frenzy. So they know how to do business. The food was delicious, I think they have an Asian cook, although some items were a bit pricy. They had Christmas decorations, but we caught them in the middle of arranging the restaurant for a corporate party so it was a lot of moving around. The service was good. I remember that they had one dark toilet room and the machines for paper to clean your hands weren't working (properly). But they had a nice mirror. We didn't stay long and I wasn't that hungry, so maybe this weighs on my final star ranking.

The quality was ok-ish but deff. not worth 90 lei (reduced from 130). I understand that on your site you have them posted right, but on glovo you have a misinformative picture for a product rather expensive. Why not put the real picture there as well, so you would not encounter this situation where the client paid for something and then the food that arrives is not like in the picture.

The dishes were not freshly cooked, they were old and reheated. Definitely quality was not in line with the prices asked. The mangalita steak had a weird taste totally different than the way mangalita pork steak should be, it was very dry, well-done overcooked and definitely not fresh and reheated. Also in the menu it was written it has 'microplants ' as a side dish which were totally missing. The beef steak was a bit better, but the same, the meat was not looking fresh. The desserts were also not in line with the price asked, their look and feel was commercial. I 'm giving 2 stars only for the quality of the service which was good, the waiter was helpful and nice, he tried to help us, in the end he removed from our bill the mangalita steak. Never again here, on our skiplist.
