Gaudi Bistro - Bucharest

Nice atmosphere, but full. Good food, something different from the classic menus of other restaurants.

This place is great. It is run by a family and you can say from the first minutes that these guys do this business with passion. The place looks very nice and cozy, it has a beautiful terrace with flowers and everything looks exactly like a true bistro should look. The waiters are friendly and willing to help you decide about the food or wine. The menu does not have many dishes, but everything sounds special and delicious. And it turns out that this is all. I tried the tomato soup with Mozzarella and it was delicious, but the beef steak was the real surprise. I'm kind of picky when it comes to beef steaks, but that was one of the best I ever had! Very close! A friend of mine had the seafood pasta and she seemed very happy. At the end of the evening the owners came to us to ask how things were. We found that each day they have some special dishes that are not in the menu and that you should ask. All in all, they seemed like very nice and passionate people, and only of them who talk to us at the end made us feel very nice and greeted. Maybe I sounded a little too excited about this place, but it's a real pleasure to discover a real restaurant in a city, it was terrible hard to have a really good dinner unless you spend a little luck. Here you have all the things you can find in high-quality gourmet bistros, but the prices are like those in every popular day restaurant. I just discovered my new favorite place in Bucharest.

Everything was brilliant! Food, atmosphere and prices. It's just crazy! You have to try! These guys are really passionate about food!

We went to this restaurant several times in the last 2 weeks and really enjoyed it. On all occasions, meals were very good and the service was excellent. It is the place we will come back to when we are in Bucharest. It is definitely worth trying!
