But it's very expensive...we got a bit of a fright when the bill came. To charge almost £50 sterling EACH steak and not give any other vegetables or potatoes, is a bit mean. You pay extra salad or fries. The chef kindly let us sample other meats, pork and brisket...all really well cooked and tasty. That was a nice touch. The place would benefit from being a bit cosier. There's fridge in the window, bright lights, feels like a cafe. I get that it's a deli but it would be so much better with dimmer lighting or candles, maybe a host stand. One of the waiters was not friendly and didn't smile at us once. A bill of £145 you absolutely expect better, warmer service.
