Very bad experience on a Sunday evening. The staff's behaviour was horrible they ignored us for half of the evening (they were focused on packing up in order to go home than serve us); i had to stand up and go ask them for things 3 times. We also ordere a bottle of champaigne and they brought us a much more expensive one than what we ordered we realized that only when we saw the bill, and by then, guess what it was too late because we drank it, so we were forced to pay a 4 times more expensive bottle of champaigne. At the end they added on the bill a very high tip without asking us which they did not deserve. The food quality severely declined to last year (2022). All in all, very bad experience and will not go there again.
Casa Doina is a well-known restaurant in Bucharest, located in a beautiful old building on Kiseleff Road. The place feels historic and elegant, with traditional Romanian architecture and a beautiful garden where you can eat outside. They serve classic Romanian dishes like sarmale, soups, duck, salmon, and polenta. The portions are big and the food is delicious. The staff are polite and helpful. Waiters go out of their way to make your visit special. The atmosphere is relaxed and classy, especially on the garden terrace during warm weather.
