Description
Perched on the water with dock seating and turtle sightings, this casual waterfront spot blends genuine Southern hospitality with mostly solid seafood and bar-style fare. Outstanding servers and standout dishes — catfish, salads and Silver Fin Bites — make it a favorite for locals and visitors, though inconsistent cooking, slow or occasionally closed bar service, billing mistakes and higher prices tarnish the experience. A lovely view and friendly staff recommend it, but come with tempered expectations.

I visited the restaurant on Father's Day for a late lunch and was shocked to find out they had run out of food. To make matters worse, the bar was closed as well! I couldn’t even enjoy a drink while searching for another place with an open kitchen.
I visited today and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. The menu has changed quite a bit, and it wasn't for the better. Our drinks at the bar took a long time to arrive, and to make matters worse, the table behind us received part of our order, which included the burger and shrimp tacos. When those were returned to the waitstaff, it was clear they had set them aside for us, which is definitely unprofessional in the restaurant industry. My burger was cold, and the shrimp tacos were not enjoyable at all. Additionally, we weren't asked for our side options, so we ended up with none. Paying $12.99 for a cold bacon cheeseburger is pretty outrageous! This place has a lot of potential if they can sort things out.
From the Perfect **** Mary to the delicious food and I haven’t even mentioned the view the turtles, this is an awesome spot on the water!! One of our favorites?
The food was amazing, and the service was even better. Sherry was delightful and a joy to converse with. My husband ordered the catfish, and I enjoyed the fall salad. Everything was delicious. We'll be returning when you reopen in the spring.
