This is a small tasting room, but don't let that deter you from going here. They have some unique and robust wines here. The semi-dry Riesling is superb. This is a late harvest Riesling that has notes of apricot, honey, and peach. The Niagara also had perfect balance, and while it might sound strange, you should try it. Ask for the Barrel Reserve with Syrah, Grenache, and Monteverde, it's excellent. Bottom line, they... View all feedback.
Our group was warmly greeted by the charming owner!! Tasting was incredible! All the wines were very well balanced and so delicious! We loved learning about each wine and their making process. So so fun!!!! Highly recommend:
Veteran owned. Family operated. Delicious wine! This may be the smallest winery in the county, but they are definitely first class. The owner and his family run and operate with lots enthusiasm, great wine knowledge, and friendly service. Marks humor was as dry as some of the wine. He was entertaining and gave a great tour. Definitely recommend stopping here even before the bigger operations.

I planned a roadtrip through the midwest a while back and Hickory Creek Winery was one of the stops on the itinerary. As I was driving through what seemed to be the middle of nowhere, I wondered to myself how it was that I heard of this place and why on earth I chose it. And then I arrived at this bustling and charming winery. I was surprised to see that it was just about packed with people relaxing and tasting wines. I had the obligatory wine tasting for $12 and I enjoyed the unique selection of wines, some of which made from fruits like apple or orange. I also had a lengthy conversation with one of the employees and I learned quite a bit about the area and the 39 wineries that make up the wine trail. I was disappointed that I didn't have time to stop at more, but I'm glad I was able to stop at this one!
We stopped in here as part of a winery tour we were completing. Michelle, our server, was so sweet and knowledgeable about all the wines. She made sure to explain each choice to us before we tasted and gave comparisons to help us pick what was right for us. We had a truly great experience and would definitely recommend heading here if you're a wine lover!
