This was becoming a frequent weekend haunt so decided to introduce friends to the place. I stood at the bar while 3 bar staff would not even make eye contact with me, 5 people who arrived at bar after me were served and it was only because a patron told them I was before then that I finally was acknowledged and served. Also 2 meals of the 4 were cold. Very surprising for a pub in the middle of nowhere. Good service, live music and decent food at a good price. They allow dogs (on lead) and have grassed areas, undercover as well as camp sites.

The food is good, and I would rate the service and location both at 4 out of 5. Hotel highlights include a stunning view and excellent value for your money.
