We had brunch here, although they are open for a variety of other occasions. I had an Irish coffee that was delicious like her mimoses. Both the chicken and the waffles and the breakfast dishes were very delicious. Our server was friendly and the service was fast. Most importantly, while each other Brunchplatz had an estimated hour long waiting time (Sunday morning rush), here we were able to go and sit immediately. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Public Main:
Awful. Food was mediocre, drinks were disgusting and weak I could not even drink my **** mary. We had a large party and the HORRIBLE manager refused to let us join tables together because there may be “other guests”… we were there until close and NO ONE used ANY tables around us. The manager was extremely rude and unaccommodating for PAYING guests. I will absolutely never come back and would not recommend anyone else... View all feedback.
We enjoyed brunch here, although the restaurant offers a range of options for different occasions. I had an Irish coffee that was delightful, and her mimosas were just as tasty. Both the chicken and waffles, as well as the breakfast dishes, were extremely delicious. Our server was friendly, and the service was prompt. Most notably, while other brunch spots had an estimated hour-long wait during the Sunday morning rush, we were able to walk in and sit down right away.
Public Main is an upscale sports bar located in Bryan/College Station. It features arcade games, numerous table tennis tables (where they host fun tournaments), and plenty of TVs. The food is fantastic, offering everything from chicken and pizza to gourmet cinnamon rolls; I was truly impressed. I ordered the Gourmet Grilled Cheese with Speck and the Tomato Basil Soup, and it was delightful! We also tried the Queso and some Flatbreads. I will definitely be returning. Our server, Jameson, was attentive and on top of everything. Thank you, Public Main!
The meal was outstanding, and the service was exceptional! I definitely recommend this place!
Fantastic brunch! Big arcade games! Spacious terrace and cool interior! The bacon, ham and egg grilled cheese sandwich with tomato basil soup is excellent!
The Greek salad amazing! Feta cheese flown in from Greece tastes so good! Love this place! Atmosphere and vibe is really cool! Wait staff can't be beat especially Ani. Oh and don't forget the Strawberry Tart--famous around here! Ordered one to go.
