Messina Hof Estate Winery

This was my first wine tour and tasting at all, and what an amazing first experience! It was amazing to learn about the history of Messina Hof and then try some of the wines I had not yet tried with more insight and tips was great! Charlotte was the best. Super friendly and knowledgeable! I could not believe that she could share so much in depth information without stumbled over her words or forgetting things. Nathan also shaded on our tour and was very knowledgeable about the inadequacies of wine.

That was my first wine tasting and it was amazing! Jadyn made it so much fun and I appreciated her honest opinions to help me find wines I enjoyed! Next time we're back!

I'm recreating. I called and spoke to Allison and she was very helpful and could adapt our February assignment before she was sent out. She even helped me get wines to try it. Thanks again! Staff at this place are helpful, but “Back Office” could be less for your “VIP” membership. Brooke at this point was great, and so the other curvy blonde partner was here. They were very helpful and the wines were delicious and decently expensive, so we decided to join the wine club... The only recommendation I would add is to have a sign or a kind of structure, so people know where to go for tours and tasting, etc. Everyone was kind of just waiting in line to get help and wonder where to go. And when we tried some of the wines, we were always interrupted and skipped for the people who had tours... I would imagine that this would come practically on busy days like weekends.. Well, the reason for the 3 stars is that the “back office” communication is not so big... When we originally registered for the wine club, we were not aware that the quarterly delivery should be sent within the following days. After talking to Brooke, they recommend that we come to the Backoffice team to see if we could skip the first assignment as we bought 6 bottles on that day. Unfortunately, they could not skip our first shipment without charging a fee (according to the brochure). I created an online account and found their website for more information about the wine club assignments, shipping data, etc. and could not find anything. I reached the “VIP” email and they were not too helpful.. I have just the automated email that says that our shipment has been confirmed and that I would have received previous information about the assignments and about the collection parties that I have not.. I have also asked to switch over the kind of wine club/allocations we receive, and I'm just waiting to hear back. Once again, more communication would be very appreciated. We have been loyal customers of Grape Creek Vineyards for years until we decided to try another place, and now we are not sure if this is the place for us. I don't like the idea of paying for wine that we don't like, and the lack of communication/information also doesn't help.

Great together!! 17 families and friends enjoyed a wonderful day at the Vintage House Restaurant. Amber is a great waitress. Then went over to have our tour wine tasting with Meredith as our guide! She is SPECTACULAR!!!! Wine is very beautiful!! Friendly staff!!

Love this place!!!! My family and I went for a tour of the winery and it was terrific. Our tour guide was Meredith she was very knowledgeable from the wines they carry to the wine making. She was down to earth and really made the experience. It is during the off season right now but the grounds are still beautiful. You will love the antique artifacts that their Villa has as well. A lot of Texas history at this winery. Best piece of info I didn’t know is that all their grapes are Texas grown!!!!
