The service was quite poor. The mixed drinks were warm, and the food was truly awful! I wouldn't return unless I just wanted a beer or a glass of wine... they can't mess that up!

The service was subpar, likely due to a large rush coinciding with our reservation, which wasn’t really the server's fault. It took about 15 minutes for our drink and food orders to be taken after we had seated ourselves, and we had to flag down the staff to get their attention. The portion sizes were relatively small compared to the prices—two of us had the crab cakes, while another had an omelet, and one had chicken and waffles—but most of us enjoyed our meals. In the end, the waiter acknowledged the poor service, apologized, and offered us a discount on our bill, so we are willing to give it another try.

Oh my God loved this restaurant!! The mood was so funny, very NOLA feeling. The food was delicious and we had the best waitress. I was nervous to go because I needed only one place to eat for a party of 7 at the Ring Day / Family weekend, and that was the only place I could find that would accommodate us. It has proved to be delicious and so funny. The only drawback is that they only have the Sunday Brunch menu at the time, so we don't get to experience the full menu, but it was a super busy weekend so I understand. Will try again for the rest of the menu!

We have enjoyed dining here many times, but this time they had an off night I suppose. The catfish was not the same level as we have come to expect, and the mix drinks seemed to taste odd. We called it an early night and left. Typically we would have stayed and spent more money enjoying drinks at the bar. I would still recommend the Elixir to anyone.
