I ordered the Pork ribs, Moist brisket, and the Jalapeño Cheese sausage with Macaroni Salad and Loaded Ranch Potatoes. Really great and clean atmosphere with some of the best barbecue the Lone Star state has to offer.

The glory days of eating at C&J back in college, it felt more authentic. I don?t know. I got the double meat plate with chicken and brisket with Mac n cheese and potato salad. I really liked the jalapeño poppers. They are opening a new location so I don?t know.

To find the correct spot, just input 2112 West Briargate Drive in Bryan into your GPS. It’s a fantastic venue for family gatherings; our private room was spacious enough for 30 people and was clean and well-kept. The menu featured a variety of tasty gluten-free options, which we truly appreciated. I'm thankful for this restaurant, especially during a time when our family and friends needed it. We enjoyed watching sports while we ate, and the bathrooms were nice as well!

As I looked through the menu, I suggested to the person taking my order that they should offer a combo with a bit of everything. To my surprise, they actually do! I opted for the combo that includes half a pound each of brisket and sausage, half a rack of ribs, and half a chicken, along with two large sides. I really appreciate that C&J sells ribs by the rack instead of by the pound! I was a bit taken aback by the price at first, but I quickly realized it was quite reasonable given the amount of food, which should easily provide me with several meals. Overall, everything was very good to excellent. A few bites were slightly dry, which I suspect was because I arrived during a quiet time between lunch and dinner, and those pieces were thinner cuts (like the end rib and chicken wing). I’ll definitely be coming back, especially since they’re less than two miles away from my home.
