View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Hotel Le Roitelet:
View all feedback.
Perfect place for a weekend, surrounded by mountains and tranquility. The hotel is very cozy, very clean and the staff is very friendly. We were happy to stay here for 2 nights and we would fortunately have stayed more time. Breakfast was delicious and... good quality food.
Since this is a 2* hotel, the rooms are very clean and warm. We were in room 3, which is quite small, but has a huge balcony with a great view! The staff were all very helpful and friendly, The only small bottom was the...small shower cabin and high up shower head, but perfectly functional with lots of hot water! We didn't pay for breakfast, so it can't comment. We had only one night at the hotel dinner, but the food was really good and the staff took time to explain the dishes. There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel to take you to all ski lifts, or you can go to the city that takes about ten minutes in ski boots, but it's uphill so that we usually wait on the free bus that was very common! The shoe room had heated racks to dry your ski boots and was very spacious. There were also two nice small sitting area to see TV and a dining table for board games etc. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a cheap ski tour.
We stayed here for a week on a half board basis, the menu was different every day, all freshly cooked by Patrick the Chef and Landlord. The presentation of each dished was refined and very tasty. This should be a 3 stars establishment.
This hotel is just a little burnout of Chatel on the main road but it's only a 5 minute walk up the hill. The rooms are really nicely decorated and the beds are comfy. We had a family duplex room too which had two really...nice bathrooms and a small balcony. The views over the valley towards Chatel were great too. It has a nice little storage area on the ground floor for bikes or skis which seems secure and the car park has plenty of room. The restaurant is nice but a bit pricey, and beers in the bar aren't cheap either. The breakfast isn't great value though and is a bit limited in its offering. The only real downside is that the WiFi is terrible, if that's important to you. Overall this is a lovely hotel and this is the second time we have stayed
