Excellent spot for Belgian french fries — the type people try to buy and mistakenly source it from places that don’t deliver. The meatballs are brilliant as well they come with a wide selection of sauces. Why not have a beer with all that? The location is perfect for conversations as well, with a group of people, etc View all feedback.
What Carlos C doesn't like about Ballekes:
The balleke (pork&beef) in itself is rich in flavor but the sauce (belgian cheese) was mediocre lacking cheese profile and was not hot enough. I choose two side dishes fried mashed potatoes: boring and dry; and a salad topped with mayo: very bitter lettuce. I'm sensitive to smell and there was something going on which I suspect is from poor washing surfaces. Last but not least, the staff was extremely friendly! View all feedback.
Fries have been salted in excess but the meal is no less good!
