The atmosphere was fantastic, and I relished a craft cocktail alongside a generous portion of blended beef meatballs served over rich tomato sauce spaghetti. Be sure to save some space for the cherry sorbet; it’s a must-try! The staff was incredibly welcoming, adding to the overall enjoyment of the evening.

Situated in a secluded spot, this hidden gem offers breathtaking views. After playing a round of golf at Hidden River golf course, we decided to have dinner here. We shared the Maple River salmon dish, which was served with a side salad (the poppy seed dressing was delightful), chef's vegetables (spinach and carrots), and a choice of potato. Every bite was delicious. While there was a $4 charge for splitting the dish, the portions were generous and almost as large as full entrees.

I decided to sit on the patio for a live music event, which ended up being the highlight of the evening. Unfortunately, the service was painfully slow, and I was never asked about my meal. I had high hopes for the ribeye, but it turned out to be smaller than advertised and lacked flavor. The baked potato was overcooked and tasted stale. I also wanted a glass of wine to enjoy with my meal, but the server was nowhere to be found. When he finally arrived, he smelled of smoke, and the food was mediocre at best. I won’t be returning to this restaurant; I plan to go to DLB instead, as I know they will provide a much better experience. It’s disappointing because I really wanted to give this place a chance. The only reason I’m giving it two stars instead of one is because of the beautiful setting and the music. Having grown up in the area and visiting every summer for over 50 years, this will likely be my last visit to this restaurant. You live and learn!

The fish was tasty, but the au gratin potatoes were disappointing, and the side salads were lackluster. The service was generally good. I would consider dining here again, but I would definitely opt for the loaded baked potato instead of the au gratin.
