Good s... read more Stopped for breakfast as heading out of Door County. Could use some signage on the main Hwy indicating there’s a restaurant just a 1/2 mile off the road. Good size portions. Flavorful. Reasonable prices. Attentive table staff. Odd though that all the interior decor (there’s lots and lots of it) is for sale. Will be stopping here again. Stopped in again for lunch on way up into Door County. Ordered their double burger. One patty cooked great. Other patty was closer to red than pink inside. How does that happen? Lunch was certainly not as good as their breakfasts. And way too much 1970’s house decor stuff jam packed all around for sale. Would you buy a painting that was hanging in the bathroom?

We waited patiently while watching tables that sat down after us get their food. An hour went by before asking the waitress about our food. She said it was being plated. She brought out two plates and sat them down in front of us and it wasn’t even our food. We asked to cancel our order and left without eating. It would have been nice for some one to simply check on our order at some point and give us an update. If they can’t keep up they need to reconsider their capacity.

However, it absolutely absurd that I can't properly show my gratitude due to their refusal to allow tips off a card!! As travelers, we don't always carry/have cash on us. If the owners refused to pay charges on those tips. Please have staff get/post venmo/cashapp/zelle/??? some way that us without cash, can send them gratitudity that they soo deserve!! Also, thank you to the customer Bob for getting ice cream for the kids! It's 100% the people who make this place what it is!
