What User doesn't like about Villa Romana:
The waiter's attitude was rude and unhelpful, as he responded to us in French despite our inability to speak the language. There were moments when he simply refused to acknowledge us altogether. To make matters worse, when the bill arrived, we noticed that we had been overcharged by euros for the steak and spaghetti. The waiter's attitude was rude and unhelpful, as he responded to us in French despite our inability to speak the language. There were moments when he simply refused to acknowledge us altogether. To make matters worse, when the bill arrived, we noticed that we had been overcharged by euros for the steak and spaghetti. When we questioned him about this, he mentioned that the additional cost was for the sauce or gravy, which was supposedly indicated on the menu (though on a different page than the one we had seen). He reluctantly corrected the mistake after punching the numbers into the calculator but failed to apologize for the error. Overall, our experience at this restaurant in Brussels was extremely unsatisfactory and left a negative impression on our first meal in the city.

We decided to dine at this restaurant because it was close to our hotel and we were craving Italian food. We were the only customers in the restaurant, but we assumed it was because we arrived early, around 11 o'clock. We ordered the steak and spaghetti set as recommended by the waiter, along with a bowl of seafood soup. The steak was good, but the seafood soup was disappointing as it tasted like a watered-down tomato soup with few pieces of seafood that seemed to be from instant noodles. The waiter was not very friendly and seemed confused, speaking to us in French even though we could only speak English. He even ignored us at times. When we received the bill, we noticed we were overcharged by 5 euros for the steak and spaghetti. When we questioned him, he mentioned that the sauce was an additional cost, which was not communicated to us and supposedly listed on a different page of the menu. Eventually, he corrected the mistake but did not apologize. Overall, it was a very unpleasant experience for our first meal in Brest.
