After a warm welcome from the owner, we opted for the daily set menu where we could choose a dish for each course. Breaking from tradition, we both decided to order the same dishes for the entire meal. Our dinner started with perfectly cooked scampi in a buttery sauce prepared right in front of us in the open kitchen. For the main course, we selected the lamb which was cooked to perfection and served with crispy fried potatoes and fresh vegetables. For dessert, we both enjoyed a classic cream dessert beautifully presented. We paired our meal with a delightful house wine, a mountain-grown variety from a charming vineyard, all for a reasonable price. The cozy ambiance, delicious food, and affordable prices make this restaurant a favorite of ours. It's clear that quality dining doesn't have to break the bank. We will definitely be returning.
Finally found a nice payable address in the center of brussels. After a short initiation by the owner, we chose the day mat where we could make a choice for each dish. Unlike our habit, we both took the same dishes for the whole meal that night. We started with scampis in a buttercup sauce baked. The patron that were at the mainly early market picked them out of the cooler and made it ready in the open kitchen a plate of big scampi perfectly baked. For the next dish, we chose lamb. Also, this came as neatly as it should be, rose baked on the table with one in the pelvis fried potato and an original vegetable vegetable. As dessert, we both chose a cream brule. Classic but back to the way it should be done and presented. We took the house wine, a mountainerac-chair wine, apparently from a benevolent owner, at the price of these glorious meals, we were paying next to the fun atmosphere that fell in the cavity of the ears. Sainte catherine is the best evidence for us since years that quality cookies can go to a reasonable price, too, we're definitely coming back.
I finally found a great dining spot in the midst of a bustling neighborhood. After a friendly greeting from the owner, we opted for the daily menu where we could select a dish for each course. In a departure from our usual routine, we both chose the same dishes for our entire meal that evening. We began with perfectly cooked scampi in a delicious butter sauce. The chef took the fresh scampi out of the fridge and prepared them right in front of us in the open kitchen. For our main course, we chose the lamb which was cooked to perfection and served with roasted potatoes and vegetables. For dessert, we both enjoyed a classic cream sauce that was expertly prepared. We paired our meal with the house wine, a delightful mountaineer wine recommended by the owner at a reasonable price. The enjoyable atmosphere and delicious meals made for a memorable dining experience. Sainte Catherine has been consistently serving high-quality dishes at reasonable prices for years, and we will definitely be returning.
I finally found a great dining spot in the midst of the hustle and bustle. After a warm welcome from the owner, we opted for the set menu where we could select a dish for each course. Breaking our usual routine, we both chose the same dishes for our meal that evening. We started with perfectly cooked scampi in a buttery sauce. The chef, who personally sourced the ingredients from the market, prepared the dish in the open kitchen with four large scampi done to perfection. For the main course, we chose the lamb, which was also beautifully cooked and served with a side of fried potatoes and fresh vegetables. For dessert, we both enjoyed a creamy pudding that was classic yet well-executed. We also ordered a house wine, which was a delightful mountain-grown variety that we discovered to be reasonably priced at just $15 for the delicious meal. We also got a side of mushrooms for an extra $12. This experience at Sainte Catherine has proven to us that high-quality cuisine can be affordable. We will definitely be returning in the future.
