Contribute FeedbackLa Table de Mus is a sad example of a restaurant trying to be a luxury experience but really misses out on every mark. The weekend menu is priced at Michelin level with quality that couldn’t be further from it. Starting from the appetisers all the way to dessert the dishes were very disappointing. Quality of the ingredients was very poor and most dishes were tasteless and unpleasant to eat. The cucumber vichyssoise was bland and flat reminiscing of cucumber squeezed juice mixed with skimmed milk. The so highly recommended Scottish beef cooked two ways was the worst cut of meat we ever had one was over cooked and dry and the other tough, chewy and unevenly cooked. The fish starters were tasteless and dessert although pleasant, underdelivered on taste and technical level hugely (the pastry case was soggy). The wine was drinkable at best. The service was trying but the whole experience was uncoordinated. I can see what the chef envisioned but I’d recommend starting with basics. Good ingredients. Simple menu. Please drop the luxury tasting menu until you can actually deliver it.
Very nice little restaurant. Kitchen uplifted, but not worthy in every walk stars (we had especially enjoyed greetings from the kitchen, appetizer and dessert). The boss is extremely friendly, whereas the rest of the service staff does not always have a smile on the lips. Price performance is true.
A restaurant with exceptional fine cuisine. We were warmly received by our host „ Mus“ though we came late. The friendly service, the special ambience and great wines made this dinner unforgettable !
It’s my second visit to this restaurant . The first one was in November and the other one now in Mai. Menu has changes since November. Service is very good , the same waiters as the last time. We’ve had 7 courses with vine pairings . We came at about 19:00 and left at 22:30 . Atmosphere is relaxed. In general everything was good. However the vine pairing was a very big disappointment. Reason for that was that the same type of vine was served with several dishes. I have never experienced that before. Well i am expecting to be served different type of bine for every single dish. I think that the waiter should be informed us about what kind of vine will be accompanied to which dish. Or the restaurant should have a vine pairing list to be given to the guests. my experience from Michelins restaurants, probably that’s the reason I’m aspecting that) If I I would know about the things above I would rather have ordered a bottle of vine because the combination of wine and dishes was not really good. This moment was very disappointing. If this moment is important for you as much as for me than make sure to ask for information before you device to go for a vine pairing. Food is delicious , well presented with finesse . Different techniques used. That’s I liked a lot. This is an expensive restaurant . And the expectation is accordingly.
