La Chaloupe D'or - Brussel Centrum

Almost once a month, we're going to lunch in la chaloupe d'or on Sunday. It's good, you always feel welcome, the service is hearty and the frame and the lining is sublime. We can only wish one thing: I'm sure we'll go back. Thanks to all the staff and happy new year. walter

Most beautiful square of the world so higher prices expected. The food was amazing. We tried 4 different dishes and each was very good. Stuff friendly and welcoming. Well done!

Waited more than 25 minutes to order a drink. The waitress saw us multiple times but did not care and kept clearing tables and attending others. Poor service even if a touristic area where you usually do not have such high expectations. After 30 minutes we just left avoid please

Had the onion soup and Affligem beef stew. Absolutely wonderful food in the grand place. Staff were fantastic and the atmosphere was great, especially after a young lady was proposed to. Good variety of beers, wines, cocktails and alcohol free.

Clearly you eat here for the atmosphere and this totally delivers. When you order the mussels you get a ton more than enough for two people. The food so good enough to justify the price. They have a kids menu! Pretty small kids menu but hey, it’s there.
