Open air seating, which is good for people watching. Located centrally, close to both St Catherine square and the Grand Place. They even have complimentary wifi.
For me, Celtica feels like a bit of an institution in Brussels. It serves a largely expat and tourist community and is an excellent place to watch football. They'll change the screens for you if you ask. On an evening it turns into a disco and can get very busy and kettle market like. During the day, it sells a range of beers and unusually for Belgium has service at the bar. The place used to be renowned for its generous happy hour pricing but, alas, those deals are no more.
The wide selection of drinks are much cheaper than most places in the area. The staff are very friendly. Downstairs there was live music and a really good atmosphere. There was a club/dancefloor upstairs which was a little empty but I'm sure will get much busier as the night goes on.
Very fun place, 2 floors: One with mostly old classic rock music One with dance commercial music And they also have live music !
Fun Irish bar in the centre of Brussels. We popped in for at least 1 drink on each of our 3 night stay and there was always live music (I think the same person, playing typical acoustic songs not much in the way of traditional Irish music). Good selection of beers and reasonably priced. A very fun atmosphere on Friday and Saturday nights.
