Don Taco - Brunswick East

We went to an early appearance in brunswick east, so I booked here a table for later. I was just before lunch and the bar was closed so I was looking forward to tacos and a cocktail. we ordered the chilaquiles as an appetizer, and that was absolutely delicious, with the excellent homemade chorizo and exactly the right amount of spicy heat, and in fact was the highlight of the meal. the phish taco was beautiful and crisp, a reasonable texture, but all taco had not much taste. the chicken quesadilla was similar, considerable, but only ok tasteful. When I came to the Carnitas-Quesadilla, I realized that we ordered too much food, but the cherry mushroom filling was rich and delicious. I also tried a classic margarita and a mojito, and both met the place. with tacos to $6 and cocktails under $20 the prices are very reasonable.

I am a bit Mexican food snob, as I have eaten a lot of excellent vegan Mexican food in the usa and mexiko myself. I think this place is good, but not quite to meet the brand. the chorizo is not very spicy or tasteful (the rest of the queensadilla was good, though and the pastor taco was painfully small with only 2 small slices chikin and teeny piece ananas (taste really good, but not worth the $6! . I really wonder if they have brought it out incompletely. I also wonder how fresh the oil was because it tasted a certain taste in every deep fried dish. the not vegan in our party were satisfied with dinner what I think is important! we were also very satisfied with the quality and selection of the mezcals. as another reviewer mentioned, it is quite loud and booming in the restaurant, so they keep that in mind for what kind of culinary experience they are looking for. updated by previous review on 2022-05-08

Comfortable Mexican style vegan food. tried a mushroom taco, some frijoles-negras, aguacate-mole, and their churritas con helado. nothing was disappointing, even their chips for the fridules were of a superior crispy fresh quality than most in land. really enjoyed everything about my meal even the goofus host from boston told me that she was a vegan restaurant as I went to sit down, I gave him the Stank eye when he said that it was his jerky wise to signal to me that he didn't think I saw vegan and could lose that I found sexy and ironic peus under consideration of my animal fairy party. I've bitten him back by asking if he was from Texas, and it just turns out that person suffers from an escasez of social sweat and charm, that's not a fault for her own. despite this güewón I loved her eating and enjoying watching the striking and overly beautiful chefs in the kitchen, rocking some very delicious almost food mexicans, indebted melbournes best. I told the host, I would be back for her taco Tuesday deal of $20 for 12 tacos and he has this for a chance to tell me he wouldn't work in this night as if I was interested in seeing him personally and not the damn tacos. but, please go also in other nights as they get happy and get a little chat with this unpleasant sweet summer child himself. viva la melbourneo!

At first, I hoped the food would arrive more quickly, but in the end, I definitely received plenty of food, and there was a wonderful variety of tacos to choose from.

We did the all you can eat taco night. Really quick and efficient service. Easy ordering and pay system for sides/drinks/dessert. Only disappointed in the fact that the menu sent out with the confirmation email isn't what's available on the night. Would have loved to have tried more dessert options. Everything we had was brilliant flavour and quality though
