Editing the review to 1 star because I decided to give this restaurant another go but they cancelled my 7pm booking at 5:30pm without giving any reasons. After sending an email reminding me of the booking before. I had booked this table well in advance. I did not receive any calls or voicemails from the restaurant. The owner was very attentive. Restaurant had a nice ambience. Food was above all the Naan excellent. Many selections on the menu, so will definitely go back.
Probably the best Indian food in Melbourne. The second time here and they're still delicious. Service is also amazing.
Consistently good dishes that are well presented and full of taste. A friend who eats very spicy food is still challenged by the Vindaloo and comes with a green chili paste to make it hotter! Chicken tikka and Naans the favorite for those who do not love spicy food as well as the goat cheese chicken. Another favorite is to go to Cashew and Rosin Pulau with the curries we ordered, as this rice dish is not something found in other Indian restaurants. Many times have been here and food quality and service remains consistently good.
The food was incredible! We had the onion bhaji, palak paneer, aloo Chhole and Daal Double Tadka. Everything was so delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful with letting us know how much to order for a table of 4. Great ambiance.
This cozy restaurant has left the best impressions! Hospitable hosts, delicious dishes, beautiful presentation, wide wine list and wonderful dessert. I recommend it to everyone! I would like to come back here again and again.
