Cool place to eat have a few drinks right on the water. Great food and service

Family of 6 stopped for lunch on our way through town. Neat atmosphere. There were a few alligators swimming around the dock. The food was great too! Good size portions for a reasonable price. We are very glad we stopped to try something different then fast food on our road trip. Kid-friendliness: There was a good selection of kids meals.

If I could rate a negative 5 I would. Made an order for my husband and I to celebrate our anniversary.(I'm disabled and in a wheelchair)It was our first and ONLY time ordering from here. My food was overcooked and soggy from the oil. His steak was overcooked and we think all the pepper for it was on the gator bites we ordered. Which I've had gator and that tasted like the steak bites not gator. They charged us $10 for a (1) small cluster of crab. Which again had not flavor. That doesn't include the lack of professionalism when my husband went in to pick up the order. I'm begging everyone, save your times and money. If you want go to b and J's or skippers. You get wayyyyy better food and for a good price. Don't waste y'all's time eating at this place.

I ate oysters and they were too small and overcooked. They also made me sick for 3-4 days

Best service I've had at Mudcat Charlie's in a while. Except for being out of Brunswick Stew, there would have been 5 stars. However, the waiter did recommend the crab chowder, which was delicious! The gators were out and about making for a fun evening on the deck overlooking the Altamaha
