Dairy Queen (treat) - Brunswick County

Pre-ordered/prepaid for a Reeses cake for my husband 's birthday. Was told that it would be ready after 12pm on 04/13/2024. I arrive at around 230pm. I was informed that not only was the cake not frosted, but also had cosmetic damage. No discount was even offered. The worker suggested that I could make a day of decorating it with my kids. I said this is for my husband and his birthday is today. She says oh well, he can 't decorate his own cake. So I said if there is a way that we could discount the cake I would take it, but if it were you, would you pay 45 for this cake? And she looked at it and didn 't answer. She said let me call my manager. So the resolution that was offered was half off of the cake in the form of a gift card. Which I did take. But , honestly, would you pay 22.50 for this cake? I have included a stock image of what DQ advertises as their Reeses Cake, and the one I gave to my husband.Side note: I also had a soft serve cone that was huge and delicious. The staff did listen to me, and were kind, even though I had to ask for a discount.Parking: It is in a gas station.Kid-friendliness: There are tables inside to enjoy your treats

Ok..the girls working there were great..BUT, I got a banana split...started to eat it and it didn 't taste quite right so I asked my partner to taste it..the pineapple syrup had gone sour..we agreed it definitely was bad pineapple...was informed it happens alot with the pineapple there...hmm...repla ed with a large milkshake...Also, what happened to walnuts and cherries on a banana split?? Told they stopped using walnuts and now it 's peanuts or pecans and it costs extra...AND HAS ANYONE NOTICED THAT ALL THE REPLYS FROM DQ ALL SOUND THE SAME, WE 'RE SORRY WE 'RE SORRY WE 'RE SORRY..GIVE US ANOTHER CHANCE..YEAH TO ROBB US AGAIN??? WOW DQ..THIS MUST BE A CHINCHY FRANCHISE CUTTING EVERY CORNER..BYE BYE!
