Z's Cream Bean - Brunswick

This restaurant serves the best ice cream, but I would suggest they invest in proper cups for their sundaes. The sundaes are not as enjoyable because the cups do not hold the toppings well due to their straight design instead of flaring out.

This store is a bit confusing. The ice cream is pretty good and there is a decent selection of flavors. However, there are other ice cream shops in the area that I would prefer to visit. As for the coffee, I have no idea. It's strange that they advertise as a coffee shop in their name but are not open in the morning. It would be nice to have a morning coffee option in the area, especially since there are no other places nearby. I'm not sure what the reasoning is behind this but it seems like a missed opportunity.

I used to enjoy going to Z's with my family because their ice cream was always exceptional. However, my recent experience has left me disappointed. Upon entering the empty restaurant, none of the employees acknowledged us as we waited to place our order. The older lady, who had been unfriendly during a previous visit, seemed preoccupied and unhelpful. After waiting for a while without any explanation or apology, we ultimately left. It's evident that Z's lacks customer care and won't be getting my business in the future. I'll be trying out other ice cream places in the area instead.

My husband and I tried Z’s early this year and loved it. They shut down for a while which was disappointing. When they reopened, we were so excited. We went there recently and were not greeted by anyone. An older lady working the counter and some younger girls were standing around looking confused. Apparently the computers were not working properly. We ended up leaving because the only interaction we had was with the older lady and all she said was “hang on” in a rude way. So disappointing because we really loved Z’s and they had delicious ice cream.

Very disappointed in this place! The workers were not nice and accommodating with their menu and attitude in general to my whole family. The menu consisted of weird items like chili and ice cream. Looked nice from outside but looks outdated as well. Only one non dairy option, for allergies. Definitely not coming back.
