I live in Boston and last time I traveled to Maine via Amtrak my party stopped in here for lunch. It was so good now I have been back and want to go every time! Seriously some of the best Indian food I've ever had. I don't know a place in Boston as good as this. Try the fish curry! The Punjab mixed grill was also so good; tandoori chicken was SO tender and my partner said it was the best lamb they've ever had. Even the condiments we wanted to take home. Affordable for the quality and portion size, super cute homey atmosphere too and they give you the option of how spicy you want your food from 1-10. Thank you Shere Punjab!!

I used to work across the street and would come here once a week. Everything was AMAZING and the staff was being better. I moved to Western North Carolina and tried the best Indian restaurant in Asheville, which is known as one of the best cities for restaurants in the country. They had absolutely nothing on Shere Punjab! Everything is better here. I won’t even make a recommendation on what to try (except you’re a fool if you don’t get the garlic naan with all those amazing dipping sauces). Just try it all, it’s impossible to get a bad dish. Now I come back to Maine here month or two and stop in here every time.

This place is way better than the perhaps better known Indian spot down the street. Delicious home style Indian food with even better service and people. We got the chicken curry, saag paneer and roti. They brought us complimentary lentil crisps with a variety of dips. All delicious!
