We were visiting Maine on a family reunion trip. In looking around for a place for us 20/30-somethings to go to, this little gem popped up. Half of us at least really loved the idea and figured we'd give it a go. This place is really a nice and comfortable brewery to visit. Stress-free atmosphere with a theme that really draws in the crowds favoring aviation and retro callbacks. Fun names for their brews, comfortably... View all feedback.
What Hvar Coop doesn't like about Flight Deck Brewing:
July 20, bought the wheat ale and it was pretty bad. The atmosphere is great, food is good but the beer is subpar. I will say the dark beers are good, not great, but other than that the beer is not the worth the drive View all feedback.
Sadly I don't make it to Flight Deck as often as I'd like these days but it's always a great time when we do. It has everything I look for in a brewery, great beer good variety of styles, well executed theme, food options and drinks options for non-beer folks. On top of that the vibe is always super chill and feels like you're hanging out with a bunch of strangers who could all be your friends. Our trip to Maine for this year is nearly at an end but I'll sip some of the to-go beer over the next few weeks and look forward to whenever life finds me at Flight Deck again.
Back to our old stomping ground. Weird the base is no longer there, but the Flight Deck Brewing did not disappoint. The atmosphere, beer, food trucks and memorabilia from the Naval Aviation will definitely have us coming back. Kudos Flight Deck Brewing.

Stress-free atmosphere with a theme that really draws in the crowds favoring aviation and retro callbacks. Fun names for their brews, comfortably spaced high-tops and more than enough outdoor seating as well is a huge benefit for even those who have a hard time going out to places like these without getting anxious. We'd also gotten a few pizzas while there from their kitchen, and really thought for the price these were fantastic pies! If ever we head back up, this is on our return list!
Our group of adults and teenagers really enjoyed the beer (for the adults) and the pizzas (for all). We got a couple Flying Dirty (pepperoni), a landing gear (cheese) and a barrel roll (garlic breadstick pizza). For beer, we had the Blueberry Angel and a V Formation.
At first, I was not impressed with the place at all. Had to walk down this long walk way that I felt was more like a storage area. Once in the bar area was like ok. There is not much seating inside, but there are lots of seats outside. The pizza was great! Had a BBQ food truck. The bar tenders were extremely helpful when trying to choose a beer. I'm really glad I stayed and gave the place a chance.
