Don't know if it was user error or what but the ice cream was soupy and the toppings were almost nonexistent. Like they were down to their last and trying to stretch what was left. Normally, it's great but the past few months haven't been. The employeeswere nice, it just took a while to get the ice cream. View all feedback.
A drive thru line of 5 cars took half an hour. At this point I?m disappointed only in myself for waiting that long. The wait, of course, resulted in meeting some drive thru girl who is so evidently disdainful of having a job that ?hello? or ?have a niceday? is too much for her. And of course she hands me this instead of the hot fudge sundae I overpaid for
I always love DQ, but this location is struggling bad. The quality of food is down, the wait time is up, order accuracy is not that good, you can't go inside at all. But it's due to a lack of employees. They just can't get any help much less good help. Itwasn't like this and hopefully it will get better soon. I still love DQ, sandwiches and ice cream mostly chicken baskets lol????????. And I will go back just not as often.
I'm not sure if it was a mistake on my part or what happened, but the ice cream I received was quite soupy, and the toppings were barely there. It felt like they were running low and trying to make it last. Usually, this place is fantastic, but lately, it hasn't been up to par. The staff were friendly, but it took a while to receive my ice cream.
The service improved during my second visit. While I expect the food to be average for a Dairy Queen, my earlier experience with the staff wasn't the best. When I went through the drive-thru, the attendant was curt and offered some comments that felt unnecessary. Because of that interaction, I chose to drive away without completing my order.
To our surprise, a very friendly young man, who seemed to have already clocked out and was trying to enjoy his own dinner, jumped up to assist us. He worked alongside another young man at the counter, who appeared to be new and needed some guidance. I wasn’t fully prepared with my order, but they were incredibly patient and helpful as I ran back and forth to gather everyone's requests. Since our order was quite large, the manager on duty also came over to lend a hand to the two young men. All the employees we encountered were exceptionally friendly, professional, and courteous. Our orders arrived almost immediately, and everything was hot and fresh. I accidentally ordered the wrong ice cream for my granddaughter, but the manager kindly replaced it free of charge. Throughout our meal, the staff checked on us multiple times to ensure we had everything we needed. As a retired restaurant general manager and supervisor, I was genuinely impressed by the high quality of service, food, cleanliness, and the friendliness of both the manager and the young man who interrupted his meal to help us. I made sure to compliment them on their excellent service. The young man mentioned he was being promoted, and I wholeheartedly agreed that it needed to happen immediately! If I were still in the industry, I would have done everything to bring him into my company. Overall, we had a fantastic experience, and I regret not getting their names. A big shoutout is deserved for the team working on Friday night, October 21, 2022, around 7:30 PM, especially the manager and the young man who jumped in to help. Great job, everyone! Your efforts are truly appreciated!
