We were told by our host that this restaurant was begun by a chef, Jelle Hinderyckx, that used to have a restaurant with Michelin stars. It’s clear his new restaurant is well on its way to getting a Michelin rating as well. Some highlights include an exquisitely fresh Seabass, superbly cooked and placed atop a mussel risotto. It’s hard to describe how melt-in-the mouth delicious this dish was. The portions were generous, and I ate the whole thing. My husband had a perfectly cooked duck with shallots and green beans. Our dessert was a simple vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce, but you have never tasted vanilla ice cream like this, and the chocolate sauce was to die for. Everything was elevated in terms of quality and preparation. We would travel to Bruges simply to eat at this restaurant.
