De Bocarme - Brugge

Had a lovely 4 course dinner with the girlfriend. good food and good romantic atmosphere, My only problem was it took nearly 2 hours. We went for the tuna salad, creme soup, venison meat and cherry pie.

Excellent non-touristy restaurant in one of the world's largest tourist locations.

There are good things about this restaurant, it’s cozy and seems to be family run. The 3 courses is also affordable for €37. On the just OK side would be the food certainly decent but would not write home about it. Bread was lacking especially for the area. The service was OK, but took quite a while and I would say outstanding. Ambiance was generally good almost an old wine cave. Odd having in essence a desk and large computer in the corner.

Poor dining experience.Booked as romantic meal. Great service. But really bad quality food lacking in the niceties of a quality restaurant...

Cheesy ambiance, decor, and atmosphere. The owner's desk and office is seating in one of the corner of the dining room. Weird... The entrance door is glass, modern, out of sync with the style of the restaurant, and makes a terrible noise, when one tries to open it. This restaurant has potential, but unfortunately remains unexploited.
