Was Jonathan Vinaimont at L’ana Thème a mag?
A small restaurant in an atmosphere 'Japan Traditional'. It was delicious and the lady doing the service was very kind. In summary: A real pleasure to eat there for a Japanese lover. View all feedback.

Very good experience, small restaurant, 6 places down, Japanese couple speak Japanese, grilled cook, sukiyaki in service by the boss. Any small card that leaves enough choice to not know what so everything seems good. Not missed.

Very friendly and traditional Japanese restaurant. I’ve been there for over 20 years. When I first paid, I went to that restaurant. Real Japanese cooking and serving. It takes a bit of time because there is only one chef but it really is worth it when you really want to eat Japanese. This Japanese couple that will feel you well, appreciate human relations, it’s not any institution that makes you feel so. Prices, quantity and quality are more than reasonable. We feel like Japan. No shows, a pleasant environment. Always an enriching experience for taste buds. Preferably booking! Real Japanese restaurant prepared by a real Japanese chef! He is alone so that’s why it takes time but so tasty and it’s okay to wait a bit, but no doubt and regrets! Served by a kind boss! Thank you for making me travel by your plates! They usually take only reservations.

We had a reservation for New Year’s Eve dinner… or so we thought. When we arrived, the reservation had vanished somewhere between the old year and the new one. After a few moments of confusion, we were seated at a shared table—an interesting concept if you’re attending a spiritual retreat, a sociological experiment, or volunteering for an NGO, but hardly ideal for ringing in the New Year. From that point on, the culinary obstacle course began: we had to ask for cutlery, then drinks, then bread… The only thing missing was an invitation to step into the kitchen and help out. The salad, a simple dish with no culinary ambitions whatsoever, took 40 minutes to arrive. We assume the lettuce was still making its way across the Sahel on foot. After more than an hour of waiting for the second course—which never materialized—we decided to leave angry, hungry, and already in the new year, which was not exactly part of the plan. It’s a shame, because African cuisine deserves respect, care, and professionalism. Here, however, the only thing that felt truly African was the “human warmth”… in the sense that we were forced to share a table, because when it came to service, there was nothing but absence.
