Needed a coffee whilst I was packing up a nearby unit and chose this venue due to its location. The cafe is surrounded by units, and corporate buildings that provide its custom. There were tables inside and outside, parking out the front but I suspect most people just walk once they are at work. There is a good range of things to eats whether a slice of a focaccia. Seemed the price for focaccia's is just under $10.00.Coffee was reasonable but cheaper than expected. Saw another person have a card for free coffees after a certain amount of cups.Good buzz free papers to read in Cafe, and good service.

Attended this cafe at 8am. The service was quick which is great. I was incorrectly charged when I had a Vitamin water and they charged me for a powerade. Not great. I ordered the pancakes as I was going to treat myself but it was definitely not a treat. The pancakes were so dry, they fell apart when I put my fork in them, should have asked for a spoon to eat them. To add to the list the wall that I was sitting next to (table for 2 back corner) had food splashes. Yuck. So obviously they don't clean very well either. Not a great example of food in Canberra Bruce. Skip this place and go somewhere clean and where the pancakes are yummy!

Me and my partner travel to Canberra a lot with work and thought we would stop off at cafe momos on our weekend off with our dog. I went in first and had a browse at the food on display which looked rather tasty, and then noticed you had a seating area outside. I asked a friendly brunette girl behind the counter if I could sit outside with my dog and she said it was fine, so I brought him in to walk through to the outside area. The minute I’d taken one foot through the door this other girl struts over and loudly tells me that dogs aren’t allowed in the cafe. I politely said I was walking my dog to get to the outside area and she said I should go round and not through the cafe. I’ve never been to this cafe before so I had know idea there was a side exit. Anyway, my partner took the dog round to sit outside and I ordered our food and drink. We went to wait outside and I sat on one table whilst my partner took the dog for a quick walk and sat down on another table whilst the dog took a drink from the water bowl. The rude girl from earlier came out with our food and drink, all in takeaway bags and cups when I specifically said I want to eat in, and said we needed to swap switching tables as she has to sanitatize after because of ‘Covid’. This was the last straw! There has been no Covid for months! It was an excuse to get us out of the cafe, our food already packed in take out bags. We wanted to eat in and order cake after but we took our food and left. My partner told me not to say anything at the time but I had to hold my tongue. I have managed a coffee shop myself for 4 years and if a staff member was that rude to my customers they would be sacked on the spot. Will I come back? NO. It was the manner and tone of her voice and the looking down on us, probably because we are obviously not Australian and not local!! Non dog friendly cafes with rude staff don’t get my custom! Such a shame because the food and drink was lovely the only reason you get 2 stars and not one.

I don't usually write reviews, but Cafe Momo truly deserves a five-star rating. They serve the BEST food and coffee, and the staff and owners are fantastic. There's a designated play area for kids that includes a large chalkboard to keep them entertained, as well as a lovely outdoor space. I highly recommend it!

My new favourite café in Canberra. The food is excellent, my wife and I have eaten there twice and both times loved our meals, I've also dropped in once just for coffee. I've had a Tropicana burger and the barramundi fillets and my wife has had the calamari. Would happily recommend any of the dishes though I have to say the barramundi is exceptional and should be experienced. The staff are really pleasant and clearly motivated to making sure you are welcomed and served well and very engaging. The whole aesthetic is warm and comfortable and I'm looking forward to trying the outdoor section in warmer months. The coffee is good, not the best you'll find but up there amongst the better coffees around. Parking can be tricky because it's a popular spot and parking is limited off road but we've not had too much trouble and there is plenty of on road parking nearby. Definitely recommend a visit.
