Bobbers - Bruce Mines
Bobbers
Description
Bobber's is a restaurant with a mix of reviews. Some patrons found the dishes disappointing, such as the tasteless cod and hair in a sandwich. Others praised the homemade bread, diverse menu, and tasty French toast. The service varied, from helpful and quick to slow and forgetful. Despite some shortcomings, the place is seen as a convenient and good stop for a meal, especially on a road trip. The pies come highly recommended by some visitors, making it a spot worth visiting for a quick and simple meal while traveling through the area.

Stopped in for lunch today while driving through the area. Small place with a basic menu but good food and service. Not fancy, but good eatin'. Good prices too. Worth stopping by for a quick bite when travelling through the area.
Bread was dry and stale and the soup seemed watered down. Service was good and the tea was hot but since there is not much else around for food we had to make do.
Excellent options for Celiac (gluten allergy) Excellent customer service! Dedicated fryer for French fries pan fried the GF bread burger to ensure no cross contamination. Unsweetened iced tea isn't on the menu, but the server made it for me fresh! Hand battered fish (not GF) was excellent and my Fiancé said his GF burger was awesome! So many home made desserts to choose from too (not GF).
This place was highly recommended to us by a friend for their pies. We stopped in quickly and enjoyed a slice of lemon pie and a butter tart and enjoyed both. Nice little spot.
Bobbers is a quaint country restaurant, located near the shore of Lake Huron featuring a spacious outdoor porch, and wonderful homemade meals baking. The big negative, is sitting inside at a table in proximity of the washrooms they smell are dirty. The odour enters the restaurant every time the doors open close. More attention here would get Bobbers a 10 out of 10.
