Diners rave about the fresh, hot dishes, including standout options like katsu curry and crispy beer pie. The friendly staff, particularly bar team members, create a welcoming environment that enhances the overall experience. With reasonable prices and enticing seasonal menus, including a tempting Christmas selection, patrons are eager to return. Although some mention minor cosmetic updates needed in the restroom, the overall experience is highly praised, making The Broad Oak a must-visit for anyone in Nottingham.
We have met here a couple of times before Staff were very friendly and food good. Very generous portions of katsu curry. Some pubs now days seem very cold, maybe can't afford the heating on but it was a pleasure to be comfortable and warm.
The food at this restaurant is fantastic and the staff is amazing. The prices are very reasonable with great offers available. I recently had a small gathering with my work friends and we all enjoyed the food.
Can't fault the food, good portions and all hot! Been a few times and never dissapointed yet. Would recommend and has a nice beer garden. All staff are always friendly Big plus is it's dog friendly
We went on 1st December for our Christmas party the food came out in good ti.e and it was nice and hot. The services was good the team was very friendly.
We dined at this restaurant on a Monday and had a fantastic experience. The food was cooked fresh and arrived hot. The beer pie had a generous amount of filling and the pastry was crispy on the outside but soft on the inside, just how a pie should be. The lasagna was also very tasty, served with salad and garlic bread. Marina and Lucy, the bar staff, were wonderful and made us feel welcome. We don't live nearby, but we will definitely be back when we visit Nottingham again. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.
