I have ordered several meals from this place and they arrive quickly to my door. Food is nice. Chap on the phone taking the order is friendly. They are also happy to add any extras that are not on the menu. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Garlic Hot:
Don't waste your hard earnt cash on the awful bland and watery dishes these muppets will give you. Have used Garlic Hot for several years before it changed hands (and menu) but risked them afterwards would've rather had pot noodle and saved 30 quid! AVOID! View all feedback.
I have been using this takeaway for over a year and often have more than 1 a week the service is second to none and the food is always piping hot when it arrives and I have only had 1 slightly late delivery 10 mins) and the manager called me to apologise which I thought was a lovely gesture. If you haven't tried this place before you are truely missing out.
The currys they serve here are unbeatable I was never a huge curry fan but garlic hot completely changed that. I order every week without fail. Absolutely peng!
We ordered a meal over the phone and it arrived nearly an hour late, despite making two phone calls. The chicken had a strange taste, so we didn't eat it. One dish was hot, but the two starters were lukewarm and soggy, likely due to sweating in the box while waiting. The naan bread was very doughy and not edible. We are fans of Indian cuisine and had high hopes based on the website and menu, but were ultimately let down. There is a less expensive Indian restaurant nearby that we trust and prefer. Save your money and avoid this place, as it is not worth the disappointment.
I placed an order over the phone and paid with a debit card (not recommended). They said it would take 45 minutes, but it ended up taking an hour and a half. After three phone calls, our food finally arrived. The food was pretty good, although one dish was brought as lamb instead of chicken. The delivery driver gave us a free Terry's chocolate orange as an apology!
My wife and I decided to try the new Indian takeaway menu that was delivered to our door. The menu looked very professional, printed on good quality paper. After reading through the full menu, we decided to give it a try due to the good selection of options. We hoped for a generous portion of food. The food arrived 50 minutes after we placed our order. Unfortunately, the meal was a disappointment. Without going into detail about everything that was wrong with it, we were very disappointed in the quality of the food. None of the four main dishes or two starters were acceptable to us. We dine out at Indian restaurants three times a week, but we will not be returning to this establishment due to the poor quality of the food.
