What Archie Carter doesn't like about Chinese Express:
Takeaway took hours to arrive miles). Soggy prawn crackers, undercooked insipid pork ribs, overcooked duck quarter with no veg and mullered pancakes. Dry, tough chicken satay with a brown sauce across it. Not fit for my BIN. Horrid, horrid, horrid, do not buy...a takeaway from this place. Save your money and go to the supermarket and heat your own food up, it will be infinitely better. View all feedback. What Sofia Kennedy likes about Chinese Express:
The food at this restaurant is consistently delicious - I have never been disappointed in the 5 years that I have been dining here. I highly recommend the seafood, house udon, and sweet and sour chicken dishes. The staff is also very friendly and attentive. View all feedback.

read moreChinese Express is a mixed bag, with a range of experiences reported by diners online. While some found the food to be disappointing and overpriced, others praised the consistently delicious dishes and friendly staff. The restaurant itself is more casual than upscale, with sticky tables and more of a fast food vibe. However, for many loyal customers, Chinese Express is their go-to spot for tasty, affordable Chinese takeout. So, if you're in the mood for some classic Chinese cuisine and don't mind the lackluster ambiance, give Chinese Express a try for your next meal.
