Skillet's - Brownwood

For being a busy restaurant we got good service, I’ve only eaten here a couple of times, chicken fried chicken was good but it needed a little bit of seasoning. The whole hog omelette is actually very good no complaints here. I have not had their breakfast or lunch buffet, but I will return to go and try it.

The restaurant could benefit from some updates, but the food was fantastic. I really felt for our waitress, as they were extremely understaffed. She worked hard to attend to everyone while another waitress, who had a baby on her hip and seemed like she hadn't showered in days, barely contributed and exhibited a poor attitude toward customers. My rating reflects the delicious food and the excellent service from my waitress, but I only gave it three stars due to the need for staffing improvements and the overall condition of the place.

Eating and service was great! ashley was our server and has the order perfect. Today we have eaten again at skillets as we have many paints. that was extraordinary. fresh and hot served. the heavenly was really good! autumn was a friendly server with a great personality!

I had breakfast here with friends, and the service was excellent, especially considering it’s not a high-end restaurant. I wanted something simple and opted for a modest breakfast. It was just right—neither too heavy nor too small, and cooked exactly how I would have done it myself. The price was fantastic as well. Overall, this is a wonderful place to enjoy breakfast.
